About The Marathon
Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon 2026 is a tribute run dedicated to the courage, sacrifice and inspiring legacy of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon PVC.
The marathon brings runners together to celebrate fitness, endurance, patriotism and the spirit of honour through multiple race categories at Airforce station Maharajpura Sports ground, Gwalior.

Route Maps

The route starts and finishes at Sports Ground. Runners proceed through Main Gate and Airport Road up to Airport Round Circle and return along the exact same route.
Runners proceed from Sports Ground through Airport Road, IRA World School and Deendayal Upadhyay Statue Circle up to Pinto Park Tiraha before returning along the same route.
The 21K route extends through Airport Road, Pinto Park, Bhind Road, Gole Ka Mandir, Mela Marg and MITS Main Gate up to Thatipur Road Circle before returning along the same route.
The 5 KM, 10 KM and 21 KM routes are planned as approximate distances. Exact distances should be officially measured and verified before the event. Turnaround points may be adjusted if required.
Runners must follow the instructions of event marshals, security personnel and applicable traffic-control arrangements, especially on Airport Road, Bhind Road and other public-road sections.
